ELC-4009 UV Adhesive Bi-Cure UV/heat (low shrinkage)
ELC-4009 is a high viscosity, tough, highly filled adhesive for bonding electronic or optical materials requiring a low shrinkage to glass, ceramics, metals and other hard materials. This product is formulated to be UV cured with a heat cured back up if needed for shadowed areas. The adhesive has extremely high adhesion to glass and metals and resists discoloration and moisture degradation. This is a structural type of UV curing adhesive with over 2000 psi when tested on steel with the heat cure system. The special resins used give a high degree of toughness and vibration resistance plus high hardness of 80D and elongation of over 7%.

ELC-1043F / ELC-1043UF UV Adhesive Low Shrink Bonding and Potting Adhesive
ELC-1043-UF is a heavy viscosity, opaque coating for surface sealing, potting, and encapsulation of electronic components with a moisture resistant coating. ELC-1043- UF cures in 30 seconds or less, when exposed to ultraviolet energy in thick sections. Cured performance shows excellent adhesion to all types of plastic, metals, glass and ceramic substrates with excellent temperature and solvent resistance. ELC-1043-UF is formulated to offer low CTE, low shrinkage and low exothermic reaction for bonding a wide variety of substrates. A low temperature secondary heat cure at 180F for 30 minutes or less enables cures in shadow areas. Also available is the 1043-F which is a filled version for lower CTE.

ELC-2508 UV Adhesive Polycarbonate Substrate Potting Compound
ELC-2508 series are two component, low viscosity, coating and potting compounds for acrylic, polycarbonate and difficult-to-adhere-to substrates. These products are formulated to be a flexible, tough dual cure system where thermal cycling and moisture resistance, clarity and plastics adhesion properties are required. The compound has extremely high adhesion to clear plastics such as polycarbonate, PVC, acrylic and clear ABS. ELC-2508 is self-leveling to fill in cavities and to cure with UV energy for surface cure and gellation in very thick sections, followed by a room temperature cure in shadowed areas or in thick potting sections. ELC-2508 has special air release and wetting agents to prevent air bubbles from forming during filling and to wet the plastic substrates. ELC-2508 is a translucent clear material when cured with non yellowing properties

ELC-4480 UV Adhesive Structural Bonding of Mixed Materials
ELC-4480 is a UV curing structural bonding of coil termination, metals to metals and glass to metals. ELC-4480 needs little surface preparation and can be used in cryogenic applications.

ELC-4101 UV Adhesive UV and HEAT CURING
ELC-4101 is a low viscosity, clear, adhesive for bonding all glass, metal and hard to bond plastic components with excellent adhesion and low odor. ELC-4101 cures rapidly, in 10 seconds or less, when exposed to ultraviolet light from medium pressure mercury or microwave lamps. ELC-4101 will also cure in 30 minutes at 250F. Cured performance shows excellent adhesion to clear and translucent plastic substrates such as polycarbonates, acrylics, clear ABS, PVC as well as glass with good temperature, solvent resistance and toughness at all temperatures. ELC-4101 is formulated to withstand water immersion, high humidity and exposure to low temperatures. ELC-4101 is formulated especially for dissimilar substrates such as plastics, or glass to metals such as copper, aluminum or plated steel.

ELC-2728 UV Adhesive UV Curable Epoxy Filler
ELC-2728 is a semi-rigid material for gap filling, tacking and wire bonding or any high temperature application. This adhesive bonds extremely well to aluminum while also providing good water and chemical resistance and is commonly used for the assembly of disc drives. It is thixotropic and will not run once applied to the substrate.

ELC-3404 UV Adhesives UV Curable Potting Compound
ELC-3404 is a medium viscosity, highly toughened, clear potting compound. It has excellent toughness, strength and tear resistance in thin films as well as moisture and solvent resistance. ELC-3404 cures rapidly, in 10 seconds or less, when exposed to ultraviolet light from medium pressure mercury in most shallow potting applications. Cured performance shows excellent potting or encapsulating capability with good toughness and durability at all temperatures. ELC-3404L is formulated to cure through thick sections with normal UV lights and can be tinted a color for visibility.

ELC-1045 UV Plastics Bonder and Conformal Coating
ELC-1045 is an abrasive-resistant coating and adhesive for plastics; including plastics, fabrics, laminates composites and elastomers, metals and glass. ELC-1045 cures rapidly, in 5-10 seconds when exposed to ultraviolet light from medium pressure mercury or microwave lamps. Cured performance shows excellent adhesion to all types of plastic substrates, excellent solvent resistance and toughness at all temperatures. ELC-1045 is formulated to withstand abrasion and discoloring and can be provided in a variety of colors and viscosities. Excellent for wire tacking, holding parts in position for increasing overall ruggness and providing protection to sensitive electrical and electronic parts and assemblies. ELC-1045 is available in three viscosity grades, 35,000cps, 15,000 cps and 12000cps. All properties are the same for the three grades except for viscosity. Thixo ratio for the three products, is 7.5, 4.9, 6.4 ratio of 2 rpm viscosity value over the 20 rpm viscosity value. The higher the thixo ratio, the better the non sag properties for drop formation and bead shape. ELC-1045 is vacuum degassed for entrapped air removal to give a smooth, clear, surface and is non yellowing.
